Exploring Robotics and Engineering
One-Week Workshop, Dates Offered:
Session 4A (8/4/25–8/8/25)
Tuition: $899 $719.20 with code EARLYBIRD_25
For early learners, robotics and engineering offer the kind of exciting experiences that can spark a lifelong interest in science. Students get to see how abstract concepts apply to real life and why engineering knowledge is so important to designing and running the world around them. There’s also nothing quite like seeing a robot they’ve programmed and built themselves come to life!
Exploring Robotics and Engineering gives students everything they need to get their first taste of working with robots and engineering experiments, in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Instructors will guide them through many of the issues robotics experts must consider to improve performance. Other hands-on engineering projects will introduce them to physics principles and give them a practical feel for what engineering is all about.
By the end of the workshop, students will be able to plan and put together their very own robots and demonstrate a variety of basic engineering projects at home.
Projects in this workshop may include: Creating a robot that makes conditional decisions and creating a slime polymer.
It’s awesome to sit in the pickup line and just see all the wild haired kids come out and run to tell their parents what they did today. This is an awesome thing you have created and it’s sparking little fires of joy, curiosity, and creativity in a world so run by responsibility and expectations. Free expression and exploration is magic.
