Animation makes drawings dance, jump, and express emotions that leap off the page. Learning to bring art to life teaches how movement tells stories, how timing creates comedy or drama, and how a series of pictures can become something that feels alive, opening a whole new way to share creative ideas.
Adventurers will create expressive artwork and transform their drawings into moving animations. Students experiment with drawing techniques and animation principles while discovering how to make characters walk, react, and perform, turning static sketches into dynamic action. Their ProjectFUN animation becomes a moving story they drew and animated, proving how they can make their art come alive.
Projects in this workshop may include: Creating an attack animation for a video game or animating a slapstick skit
Please note that registration will require signing up through a portal on the Open Window site. Open World tuition discounts and promotions will not be applicable to these registrations.
