One-Week Workshop, Dates Offered:
Session 3B (7/28/25 – 8/1/24)
Tuition: $999 $799.20 with code EARLYBIRD_25
Coding is an essential, modern skill that can serve students as both a hobby and a future profession. Early exposure to computer programming languages and workflows can ensure lifetime fluency in these areas, which dictate so many aspects of our twenty-first century innovations.
This Adventurers workshop gives students a practical approach to core programming principles. Instructors will teach students to work within the Visual Studio Code integrated development environment, guiding them through the ins and outs of the C# programming language. C# is a general-purpose programming language with endless uses—from game development to mobile apps to dynamic websites.
By the end of the course, students will be able to write complete and well-documented programs that can have any number of real-world applications.
Projects in this workshop may include: Designing and developing a trivia quiz program or coding a sudoku-solving program.
[My son] rarely talks about what he does in a camp. So when he volunteered information at the end of each day I knew he was loving the camp. The small group allowed him to get to know some of his camp peers and his instructors really well. On the last day of camp, before I even asked his thoughts, he asked ‘do I have any more camps with DigiPen this summer?’ Then he immediately went on to say he wanted to sign up for a bunch of them next summer because he learned so much.
