Two-Week Workshop, Dates Offered:
Session 2 (7/6/26 – 7/17/26)
Tuition: $1999 $1599 with code EARLYBIRD_26
Comics and manga combine art and storytelling into one powerful medium, where artists control pacing, emotion, and drama through panels and pictures. Visual narratives let creators express stories in ways words or images alone can’t achieve, giving artists complete creative control to build worlds, design characters, and craft emotional journeys that readers experience page by page.
Innovators will develop visual storytelling skills to create their own original comic or manga by designing expressive characters, building narrative worlds, and crafting page layouts that guide readers through their story. Students learn character design, illustration techniques, and panel composition while discovering how to transform ideas into sequential art that captivates and engages. Their ProjectFUN comic becomes a complete visual narrative they wrote, designed, and drew, proving they can tell compelling stories through art.
Projects in this workshop may include: Introducing yourself with a one-page spread in two to five panels or redesigning an idol (K-pop, J-pop, Hololive, rock star, etc.)
