Composition and music theory have been around for centuries, but they’re also fields that have witnessed several technological revolutions in recent years. Music and sound design are essential components of interactive media like video games, and the techniques and skills needed to compose them are still evolving.
In this workshop for Adventurers, students will be introduced to the basics of music theory while working with cutting edge, professional software used by modern audio designers. Instructors will guide students in the use of powerful music editing tools that can continue to be used and experimented with at home.
By the end of the week, each Adventurer will be able to write and edit their own creative pieces and sound effects.
Projects in this workshop may include: Creating Foley sound effects for a game or animation or writing and editing their own creative pieces and sound effects
When asked by some family friends what she is doing [at camp], how her week is going, [my daughter] replied: ‘THIS IS THE BEST WEEK OF MY LIIIIIIIIFE!’
