Epic boss battle music, the splash of water, and the booms of explosions all make games feel more intense and exciting through what players hear. Creating game audio teaches students how to trigger emotions with sound, from whimsical fantasy chimes to silly cartoon boings, revealing the secret ingredient that makes moments feel heroic, magical, or hilarious.
Adventurers will compose original music and create organic sound effects using recording equipment and music software. Students experiment with capturing sounds, layering audio tracks, and composing melodies that make scenes feel tense, mysterious, or action-packed. Their ProjectFUN audio will bring a game to life with sounds and music created from scratch, helping craft any atmosphere for an immersive game experience.
