Open World Workshops to Run at St. Thomas School Summer Camp
Open World by DigiPen and St. Thomas School in Medina, Washington are pleased to announce a partnership that will bring six Open World workshops to St. Thomas’ summer camp program this year. The workshops will include offerings from both our Explorer (age 5–8) and Adventurer (age 9–13) programs and will be open to all students regardless of enrollment at St. Thomas.
The same highly refined curriculum will run at the St. Thomas workshops just as at Open World’s other locations, including special visits by creative professionals from the industry and enriching assignments and take-home projects. St. Thomas also provides an ideal home for Open World workshops, having over 70 years of history nurturing young learners in the Medina community.
St. Thomas School joins DigiPen’s main campus in Redmond and Cascadia College in Bothell to give Eastside families greater access to Open World’s curriculum no matter where they live. Families in Seattle, Mercer Island, Kirkland, and Bellevue may find St. Thomas is the closest option offering Open World’s workshops.
The workshops hosted at St. Thomas this year will be:
- Grades K–3
- Grades 4–8
One important note about these workshops is that registration will be entirely handled through St. Thomas’ registration system. The workshops running at St. Thomas will not appear on Open World’s session schedule or search results, so families interested in the St. Thomas location should go to their summer camp’s website for schedules, pricing, and other camp details. Additionally, Open World promotional codes and discounts will not apply to workshops running at St. Thomas, unless otherwise noted.
