Industry Guests: Jessica Ann Moretti, Cameron Asao, and Grey Davenport
Every Open World summer workshop includes a special visit by a working professional from the industry. These Industry Guests show students how the lessons they’re learning today can connect to their future hobbies, education, or careers. Meet a few of our exciting Industry Guests below:
Jessica Ann Moretti
Jessica is a professional illustrator and designer/draftsperson with an MFA in Scenic Design. She’s contributed scenic art for several Broadway and Off-Broadway shows and has recently moved into stop-motion animation, where she was a set designer for Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, which was just named Best Animated Feature Film at the 2023 Academy Awards!
Cameron Asao
Cameron is an illustrator, painter, and figure artist who has worked on professional stop-motion animated films for Laika Studios and most recently, Wendell & Wild, a 3D film by Netflix Animation. He is currently an Art Director at Wieden+Kennedy, where he’s contributed to ad campaigns for clients such as Nike, Old Spice, Trolli, and others.
Grey Davenport
Grey is a technical sound designer, programming the tools that help audio designers and composers integrate their work into video game projects. Since graduating DigiPen with a bachelor’s degree in Music and Sound Design, he’s contributed to major games such as Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon, Fire Emblem Warriors, The Grand Tour Game, and Ghost of Tsushima.
