The Art and Science of the Sea – at Seattle Aquarium
The Art and Science of the Sea – at Seattle Aquarium
Register for 11/23! Workshop will take place from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.
Animals are great entryways into the worlds of both science and art. Through their biology and behavior, we learn a great deal about the natural world and can better understand our own place in it.
In this weekend workshop for parents and kids of all ages, participants will learn the basics of marine animal anatomy through observation of the animal residents of the Aquarium. Instructors will guide participants through the Aquarium’s exhibits and show them how to bring creatures to life through artwork.
Tuition is $100 total for one child and one adult. Each additional accompanying child is $20. Admission to the Aquarium is included in this fee.
