Modding transforms games you love into something uniquely yours, adding new creatures, blocks, weapons, and behaviors exactly to your taste. Creating Minecraft mods teaches game design, visual programming, and digital art while giving creators the power to customize gameplay, invent new items, and share their creations with friends who play.
Adventurers will design and build their Minecraft mods, creating custom content that changes how the game looks and plays. Students develop modding skills while discovering how to add original elements that make Minecraft an interactive outlet for personal expression. Their ProjectFUN mods become additions they can install at home and share with friends, proving they can transform games they play into games they create.
Projects in this workshop may include: Designing a playable Minecraft character skin or designing and implementing custom in-game blocks.
