Visual novels combine storytelling with interactive choices, letting readers become part of the story by deciding what happens next. Creating interactive fiction fosters both creative writing and programming skills. It reveals how authors craft branching narratives in which every decision changes the story and how code makes those choices come alive.
Adventurers will write and program their own interactive stories in which players make meaningful choices that shape the narrative. Students develop storytelling skills while learning to code branching paths, character interactions, and story systems that respond to player decisions. Their ProjectFUN visual novels become complete interactive stories they wrote and programmed, proving they can create narratives that readers can play and enjoy.
