Unreal Engine 5 is a cutting-edge tool for creating some of the most exciting and visually impressive video games today. It’s been used to develop popular games like Fortnite, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Rocket League. Even though it’s used by major studios, it’s also a fantastic tool for beginners who want to create their own games from scratch.
In this workshop, students will dive into Unreal Engine 5 to learn the basics of game design and development. They’ll create their own game environments, experiment with characters, and learn how to build interactive game elements. With step-by-step guidance, students will be able to bring their creative ideas to life using this powerful software.
By the end of the workshop, each student will have built their own game that they can continue refining and expanding at home.
Projects in this workshop may include: Developing an escape-room challenge game or building a first-person exploration game
It’s awesome to sit in the pickup line and just see all the wild haired kids come out and run to tell their parents what they did today. This is an awesome thing you have created and it’s sparking little fires of joy, curiosity, and creativity in a world so run by responsibility and expectations. Free expression and exploration is magic.
